Instructions for TEACHERS

During the Activity

1. Play the audio recording.
   Please note that the audio recording can only be played ONCE.
2. The pronouncer announces the sentence. Each sentence will be repeated three times with a short pause of 10 seconds between each sentence.
3. The students may write as they listen to the sentences.
4. You are not allowed to answer questions or give hints at any point.

 

After the Contest

1. Collect all the answer sheets BEFORE you click on [ANSWER] icon.
2. The star next to each blank represents the points for the sentence.
3. The first sentence is worth 10 points; the following sentences are worth 15 points.
4. Mark and return the answer sheets to the students.
5. Gather the class for a group photo with their answer sheets.

 

Instructions for STUDENTS

1. You are not allowed to ask questions or interrupt the teacher at any point.
2. You are being tested on your dictation skill.
3. You will hear a set of recording of 7 sentences.
4. Each sentence will be repeated three times with a short pause of 10 seconds between each sentence.
5. You may write your sentences while listening.
6. Do not interact/ comment until your teacher has collected all the answer sheets.
